Intermediate Software Developer*

ROLE OVERVIEW

Software Developers serve as members of the software development team responsible for building high-quality, innovative applications that create a seamless software experience for Property Fox customers. A Software Developer’s role primarily involves building software by writing code, as well as modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces. S(he) participates in the full development lifecycle and collaborates cross-functionally with the product, quality assurance and customer success teams to achieve simple, elegant solutions.

The Software Developer level II will be an experienced developer on the team with a minimum of 2-5 years’ experience developing high performing products. At this level, developers are expected to grow in their technical proficiency and understanding of the problem domain to move to the next
level.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

  • Proven work experience as a Software Developer

  • A minimum of 2-years’ experience developing software applications in an enterprise environment

  • In particular, the ability to develop software in Python, Go, and React, and/or other programming languages

  • Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies

  • Experience developing web applications using at least one popular web framework
